I'm still struggling with a background for this, I have started to paint a cherry blossom tree but it doesn't really fit with the design of her kimono, so I still working on it I think
Since when did you get good and stuff. I can only tell that it's digital when I look at it up close, so if this were for a magazine you could just do it at a large size and then size it down for the finish. Also, your style is a little tonal, you might want to experiment with more color in the shadows and highlights in order to make the painting more eye-catching.
so I take it this is where you have been... it looks great, really. Do you use your sketch book? I made one the same size for myself, and it's a little awkward to just pull out and use.. sorry. I hope you still like it though. I haven't seen you for almost two months and we live in the same place.
