"Some Tings."

A little painting in progress. I stumbled on this painting style online and wanted to give it a go, plus it's helping me learn more about color, which I could use. I have a big empty canvas waiting for me, so I will post something about it soon I hope, I would just like to paint something in color and it not be junk.

This painting is awesome. I'm going to buy paintings off you. I'm going to be like your art patron.

(Now I said, Craig will want to buy it off you. This is my master plan.)

This is awesome. I don't understand why color scared you, but your time working with black and white has totally helped you become a master of value. Your stuff is great, keep it up.

Is there a magnet near my screen? Apocalyptic solar flare?

Seriously though, nice work. Do you see yourself doing more wildlife or applying the style to a range of subject matter? Either way, keep 'em coming.

I would like to apply that technique to more figurative work like Alex Kanevsky or Ann Gale

Allen I am disappointed that you don't want to apply that technique to painting deer butts.

but I am sure it will look great with people too.
